'Entwined' in Golden Gate Park

Designed to celebrate the park's 150th ceremony in 2020, San Francisco creative person Charles Gadeken's outdoor installation returns to the park augmented with twisting paths and shifting lights inspired by nature. Sculpted trees ranging from 8 to 20 feet tall create large, illuminated canopies, surrounded by an assortment of flowering bushes made with thousands of LED lights to create an interactive and immersive environment. QR codes incorporated into elements of the installation will allow visitors to create unique lighting patterns. Peepholes in tree knots reveal hidden elements, and a new audio system provides ambient music. The installation lights the way for attendees to enjoy nighttime exploration with the park's "Winter Lights" programming.

Let's Glow SF

Roaring Camp Holiday Lights Train

Holidays at Filoli: All is Calm, All is Vivid

The historic house and garden becomes a festive environment with abundant holiday merriment this season. Visitors can find light displays including a river of lights, a yew tree rainbow and other installations. Lights are on during daytime and evening so visitors may feel the garden at superlative autumn colour, illuminated past twinkling lights and the winter dominicus. As the sun sets, burn down pits and holiday refreshments beckon. Santa Weekends are scheduled for select weekends and themed nights on Mondays invite visitors to clothes for fun.

Powered past solar free energy, the exhibition invites visitors to engage with the undulating landscape through an ethereal light-based, sculptural experience.

Winter Lights in Gilded Gate Park
